From the first time she stepped on the mat back in 1998, Nikita was hooked. She instantly fell in love with the sense of lightness, awareness and expansion she felt from her practice.
In 2012, pulled by forces much larger than herself, she travelled to Nashik, Maharashtra and trained at Yoga Vidya Gurukul. Since then she has completed more than 1000 hours of training with inspirational teachers around the world, such as Mimi Kuo Deemer, Naomi Absolom, David Swenson and Kristen Campbell. Nikita now trains and mentors teachers, and holds weekly open classes at triyoga in London.
In her classes, Nikita teaches a slow, deep and soulful flow. Her focus is on breath-based movement, the mind-body-spirit connection, and both internal and external alignment. She aims to empower and motivate practitioners encouraging each individual to explore their own potential and deepen their awareness.
Having trained in prenatal yoga with Nadia Narain, Nikita adapted her own practice to support herself through two beautiful pregnancies and empowered births. Also a birth and postnatal doula, Nikita has been teaching yoga to pregnant and new mothers for almost a decade. Her intention is to help birthing parents navigate their magical journey with confidence and ease.
