Chris is passionate about helping people in a holistic way; to make yoga accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
Her journey began in 2013 when she started her degree in Kinesiology at Queen’s University in Canada. She specialized in an Athletic Therapy program which supported varsity athletes. She then completed her yoga teacher training in Chiang Mai, Thailand with James and the amazing team at Path of Yoga in March 2020.
Chris weaves her understanding of the physical body into her yoga teaching to craft thoughtful, well-balanced classes. Through gentle reminders, pose variations and attention to detail, she creates a warm and welcoming space in which to practice. Students are encouraged to listen to their own bodies and explore what feels good in the present moment.
When Chris is not on the mat, you can find her outside exploring nature, creating in the kitchen, or cozying up with a blanket and a tea.
